Eric Smith

Eric joined our team as the Director of Golf in 2017.  Eric is a PGA Professional, has a degree in business and brings thirteen years of experience as a Head Golf Professional.  The three years prior to joining The Moors, was with Top of the Rock at Big Cedar Lodge in Branson, Missouri – host of the PGA Tour Champions Bass Pro Legends of Golf Tournament.

As Head Golf Professional for Top of the Rock, Eric was responsible for all areas of the golf operation including its initial opening.  Eric also worked for the PGA Tour Championship in Atlanta for 4 years.

Originally from Southwest Michigan, he qualified for, and played in the 2007 Michigan Open.  While golf is his career, he considers himself an all-around sports enthusiast.  He is passionate about Lawton Community Schools where he is the Vice President of the School Board and also assists his brother Matt coaching the Boys Varsity Basketball team.

He is married to his wife Lindsey, who is a 2nd Grade Teacher. Together they share a home with their two sons Elijah (Eli) and Samuel (Sam), and lovable Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepard Mix, Millie.
